He is donning the role of an angry man in Rowthiram. He while speaking to the media said, "Rowthiram is different from my early films.
Directors use to say in those days that after Kamal’s Sathya, sir this story is like Sathya. Now I am donning such a kind of role in Rowthiram.
Now the directors will say that the story is like Rowthiram in which Jeeva have acted. I am donning the role of an angry young man. He will keep the technique within him which is father as taught him. He will bring out this to wipe out the evil. This film will satisfy the Ko audience. There is a talk that I am acting in the films that Simbhu has refused. Ko story was not narrated to him alone.
The story was told to many including Surya, Arya and Karthi. I don’t understand that why story narrated him is blown up so much. Similarly Mysskin story was also narrated to many including Simbhu. Since I liked the story, I accepted it. It is wrong to say that I am continuously acting in the films rejected by Simbhu."
