Punnagai Poo Geetha, who has produced Pattiyal and Arindhum Ariyamalum, is back in Kollywood with a project on transgenders titled Narthaki, directed by Vijayapadma. Besides producing the flick, she has also acted in this film, which stars Kalki Subramanian and Vivin in the lead roles. G.V. Prakash is the music composer. According to Geetha, the film will project transgenders in a positive way.
Recently, the film received an 'A' certificate from the Censor Board officials. But this has not gone well with the the Tamil Nadu Aravanigal Sangam (TAS). According to sources, the Tamil Nadu Aravanigal Sangam is planning to hold a demonstration today in front of the Censor Board office in protest.
