Four big film releases were scheduled for this December 2010, which were Kaavalam, Aadukalam, Chikku Bukku, Manmadhan Ambu, and so on. Now, the film makers have reshuffled their released dates and two major projects are scheduled for January 2010 which is the pongal season.

Kaavalan, Chikku Bukku and Manmadhan Ambu will be releasing as per schedule in December 2010, whereas Aadukalam, which is a Dhanush starrer has been postponed to January 14th, which happens to be a pongal day.
As per the present day schedule, Kaavalan is also said to get postponed to pongal season. But an official announcement is awaited from the makers, who are busy sorting out some legal hassles.
Meanwhile, films like KO, Engeyum Kaadhal, and Siruthai are also in the race of pongal film releases.
