Vetrimaran's next film for DVD sellers in Burma Bazaar
At a time when the whole film fraternity which is dead against the people who are selling pirated DVDs, Vetrimaaran who gave the hit film Aadukalam which had Dhanush in the lead role is going to dedicate his next film to the sellers of pirated DVDs at Burma Bazaar. Now Vetrimaaran will be joining Dhanush once again to give a hat trick. It seems that Vetrimaaran had already had written five stories keeping Dhanush in mind.

Tapasee pannu is happy with her Tamil debut ‘Aadukalam’
Pongal season witnessed the arrival of ‘Aadukalam’ which witnessed actor Dhanush in a mass role. Sikh beauty Tapasee pannu, who rose to fame with the RED FM advertisements, made her debut in Kollywood with ‘Aadukalam’. The actress was pleased with the way the Tamil audiences have received her. She played the role of an Anglo Indian in the movie and thus proved to be an utmost launch pad to her.

Karthi upset over Siruthai piracy DVD's
Actor Karthi, whose film ‘Siruthai’ was one of the major Pongal releases last week along with Vijay’s ‘Kaavalan’ and Dhanush’s ‘Aadukalam’, is upset with the fact that the ‘clandestinely’ made pirated edition of VCDs of the film ‘Siruthai’ were being sold like ‘hot cakes’ in some parts of Chennai and elsewhere in the State.

Sun Pictures, the leader in Kollywood in the field of producing and then distributing films, goes strictly by the rules and regulations it has stipulated for the functioning of the company. Unlike many distributors/produces, it is said that Sun Pictures usually doesn’t entertain the ‘preview’ shows and ‘special screening’ of the films it produces and distributes.
