GV Prakash Kumar is one of the most hard working music composers in Kollywood. Added to that he is a guy who goes out of the way to support his friends.
Recently, when Aadukalam swept six awards at the National Film Awards, it was GV who personally rang up the entire team to announce the awards.
Remember the young music director himself did not get an award, as he lost out by a whisker to Vishal Bhardwaj.
Aadukalam was GV's best composition and his friends were expecting an award for its brilliant songs and background score.
But GV was cool about it as he lost out to Vishal Bharadwaj in thebest Music Director category.
" I'm so happy that Aadukalam bagged six awards. And my song Otta Sollalae won Dinesh the best choreographer award. But I have no regrets,losing out to Vishal as songs in Ishqiya are my personal favourites. His music in Ishqiya is great and Vishal truly deserves it"
