Trisha does it for Ajith: Mankatha
Trisha is notoriously famous for her poor Tamil, which has resulted in dubbing artistes being used for all but a couple of her films. However, for Ajith's golden jubilee film, Mankatha, Trisha will dub for herself. Apparently, director Venkat Prabhu and Ajith felt it would be better that way and together they convinced her.

Good news for Ajith fans
Finally, there is some good news on the horizon for Ajith’s fans. The fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of Ajith's landmark 50th film ‘Mankatha’ which would be the star’s first film in more than an year now. The script of the film, directed by Venkatprabhu, is said to deal with the betting mafia which goes into busy mode whenever Indian cricket team is in action.

Trisha says Friendship and Acting is Different
Trisha is upset with good friend Ramya Krishnan, say sources in Kollywood. So, what is the real reason behind the two best buddies falling apart? Arjun - Andrea pair to rock in Mankatha
That ‘action king’ Arjun is playing a significant role in actor Ajit’s upcoming landmark 50th film ‘Mankatha’ is a known fact. What’s unknown, though, is that the action star would be pairing up opposite singer-actress Andrea Jeremiah. The news of them pairing up comes soon after reports that director Selvaa had ‘axed’ Andrea as the heroine in his ‘Irandaam Ulagam’ and replaced her with Richa Gangopadhyaya.

The curious case of Priyamani is a strange one
The case of actress Priyamani is a strange one. Unlike her contemporaries like Sneha and Trisha, Priyamani has a good voice and invariably dubs for her characters in almost all her films. She has a pretty face, a reasonably curvy figure, acting prowess, etc. All these traits, however, hasn’t helped her reach the top in Kollywood and cement her place there.

‘Mankatha’ not in Mumbai but Chennai
Contrary to some media reports that held the ‘Mankatha’ cast is in Mumbai city shooting for the film in the famous Dharavi area, the director of the film Venkat Prabhu has said that it was only him and his crew went to scout for the locations. Ajith and other actors were not there for any job. No shooting happened in Mumbai.
